Ben and Marylynn wanted a home that reflected the world around them and the treasured experiences from their travels together. The focus was for a space to entertain year-round and be like a second home for their guests. The house was renovated to let in more sunlight, add more guestrooms, and have a larger communal area. With busy lifestyles, Marylynn designed the house to have a work area and a darkroom for themselves and artist friends. East Lake became an eclectic, relaxed, home-away-from home at the beach.
